Billing policy

Billing, cancellation, and refund policy.

This page explains how True Resume paid access works in plain language. Checkout and account billing screens are the operational source for the exact plan, price, tax, and renewal details shown to a user.

Free access

True Resume can be started for free. Free access is meant to let users try the builder, create a first resume, and understand whether the workflow fits their job search before upgrading.

1 Week Pro

  • 1 Week Pro is a one-time purchase for seven days of Pro access.
  • It does not renew automatically.
  • It is designed for focused resume updates, downloads, and applications during a short job-search window.
  • When the access window ends, the account returns to the available free or active subscription access.

Monthly and quarterly Pro

  • Monthly Pro renews monthly until canceled.
  • Quarterly Pro renews quarterly until canceled.
  • The pricing page and checkout flow show the current billing cadence, amount, and currency before purchase.
  • Plan access continues through the paid billing period unless the payment provider or account status requires a different handling.

Cancellation

  • Recurring Pro can be canceled through the billing or account flow when billing is enabled.
  • Canceling prevents the next renewal; it does not normally delete resume content.
  • 1 Week Pro does not need cancellation because it is not a recurring subscription.
  • If a billing screen is unavailable, users should use the product support path so the request can be handled with account evidence.

Refunds

Refund handling depends on the purchase type, payment provider state, local rules, and whether the paid access was already used for high-value actions such as downloads, imports, or AI runs.

  • Duplicate or accidental charges should be reviewed through support.
  • Failed payments, taxes, and payment-method issues may be handled by the payment provider.
  • Refund requests should include the account email, purchase date, and a short reason.
  • Refunds do not guarantee deletion of account or resume data; privacy requests are handled separately.

Plan changes and failed payments

  • Plan availability, prices, and limits may change for future purchases.
  • Existing paid access is handled according to the plan terms accepted at checkout and provider records.
  • If a recurring payment fails, Pro access may be paused, retried, or downgraded according to payment-provider and product rules.
